Manage Fleets

For editing vehicles, fleets and fleet hierarchies.


Create New Fleet

  • Go to Settings

  • Click Manage Fleets

  • Click Create New Fleet


Fleet Details

  1. Fleet Name - Enter a name for the new fleet.

  2. Parent Fleet - Assign a parent fleet if required. You can organise fleets into parent and child groups using this option.


Configuration

  • Custom Event Types - Select the event types you want to apply to this fleet.

  • Driver Mode - Enable this option if the fleet will operate in driver mode.

  • Assign All Vehicles to Fleet - Select this option to automatically assign all vehicles to the fleet.

  • Camera Channel - Choose which camera channel is displayed first for events.

  1. Click Save


Speeding alarm settings

Minimum time between events

Defines the interval required between repeated speeding events. For example, if set to 10 minutes and the driver exceeds the speed limit twice within that period, only one event will be recorded.

Default: 30 minutes


Speeding Margin (%)

Specifies the tolerance above the speed limit before an event is triggered.

Default: 10%


Minimum Speed LimitBold

Sets a threshold speed limit below which speeding events will not be detected. Use this if you only want to capture events above a certain speed.

Default: 0


For editing vehicles, fleets and fleet hierarchies.

  • Edit – to edit vehicle details

  • Go to device config – Access the camera directly (admin users only)

  • Manage Strategies – Add and edit events

  • Commission – For new systems

  • Delete – delete a vehicle


Edit Device

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click Manage Fleets

  3. Select the vehicle that requires editing (use the search box to make it easier).

  4. Select Edit from the “three dots” menu

  5. Edit the details

  6. Press save


You can pull most details from the DVLA lookup (press DVLA)


Vehicle Commissioning

  1. Go to settings

  2. Click Manage Fleets

  3. Click the “Needs Commissioning” checkbox to filter vehicles that require commissioning.

  4. Click the all checkbox (at the top of the table)

  5. Select “set as commissioned” from the popup prompt. Note that you will need to do this for each page of vehicles if there are lots of vehicles.


If there are lots of vehicles in the fleet, change “per page” to 50.
