Purpose
The Dashboard provides a single, consolidated view of fleet activity over a selected time period. It is designed to give users an immediate understanding of overall fleet status, recent activity, and emerging patterns without navigating into individual vehicles or detailed records.
The page combines summary metrics, trend visualisations, and geographic context to support quick orientation and decision-making.
Summary indicators
The summary tiles at the top of the Dashboard present key fleet metrics at a glance:
Driver Checks
Displays the current status of driver checks within the fleet, providing a quick indication of compliance and completion.
Accidents
Shows the number of recorded accident events during the selected period, as reported via the Companion App (optional)
Distance Driven
Represents the total distance driven across all vehicles, aggregated at fleet level.
Online History
Indicates vehicle connectivity or online status, helping users understand how much of the fleet is actively reporting data.
These indicators are intended to provide contextual highlights rather than detailed analysis.
Driving Time
The Driving Time chart shows total driving time per day across the fleet.
Enables users to see changes in fleet utilisation over time.
Useful for identifying days with unusually high or low activity.
Supports operational planning and review.
Events & Alarms
The Events & Alarms chart presents detected events and alarms grouped by day and type.
Provides visibility of safety-related activity trends.
Helps identify increases or decreases in specific event categories.
Supports comparison across days rather than individual journeys.
This view is intended for trend monitoring rather than detailed investigation.
Vehicle Checks
The Vehicle Checks panel displays recent vehicle check activity.
Supports maintenance and inspection workflows.
An empty state indicates that no vehicle checks are currently recorded.
Vehicle checks are carried out via the companion app (optional)
Recent Accidents
The Recent Accidents panel lists recent accident records, if available.
Provides quick visibility of recent incidents.
Acts as an entry point to more detailed accident information when required.

Map
The map displays the geographic distribution of vehicles.
Provides spatial context for fleet operations.
Supports situational awareness and coordination.
Can be used to quickly identify where vehicles are located relative to one another.
Typical usage
The Dashboard is typically used to:
Get an overview of fleet status at the start of the day
Monitor changes in activity and trends over time
Identify areas that may require further investigation
Navigate to more detailed views when necessary
Scope
The Dashboard focuses on overview and orientation, not detailed analysis. It is intended to answer “What’s happening across the fleet?” and guide users toward deeper areas of the platform as needed.
